Description
| Composition | 15% N, 15% P₂O₅, 15% K₂O |
| Primary Function | General-purpose fertilizer for early crop establishment. |
| Typical Use | A foundational basal fertilizer for many crops, including maize, sorghum, millet, and vegetables. |
| Crops & Soil Conditions | Suitable for all crop types and soil types; however, the balanced nutrient profile may not match the specific needs of high-nitrogen-demanding grains. |
| Application Strategy | As a basal application at planting. For maize, the recommended practice is to apply 6 bags per hectare (300 kg/ha) of 15-15-15 at planting, followed by a top-dressing of 2 bags of urea (100 kg/ha) 4–5 weeks later. |
Note: Relying solely on 15-15-15 as a complete fertility program may not be sufficient for high-yielding hybrid varieties, which have a greater demand for nitrogen.
